As usual, the San Antonio Spurs are flying under the radar. They are again one of the best teams in the NBA that no one is paying attention to. But I’m sure Popovich likes it that way.
What he won’t like is being with the services of Manu Ginobili for about two weeks.
The Spurs will be without guard Manu Ginobili for 10-14 days because of a strained left hamstring.
Ginobili, 35, injured the hamstring late in the first half against the Timberwolves on Sunday. He did not return to the game.
Injuries have nagged Ginobili all season. This is his fourth setback so far. He sat out preseason with a sore foot and has missed four games because of back spasms and a thigh contusion.
