When Rasheed Wallace announced he was coming out of retirement and planned to make a run at playing for the NY Knicks a lot of the haters said he was too old, not in good enough shape, and that he was joining a sinking ship. But Wallace and the Knicks have proven their detractors wrong so far to open the 2012-13 season. Wallace has been contributing more and more each passing game. And the Knicks are off to the hottest start of any team in the NBA aside from Memphis. Not too shabby, for one of the oldest teams in the NBA by average age.
