Jordan CP3.VI: ‘Cut Through L.A’ Ad Campaign By W&K

Anklesnap October 19, 2012 Kicks, Official Releases 1 Comment

For Chris Paul’s sixth signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, advertising innovators Wieden & Kennedy were tapped to create an ad campaign highlighting how CP3 would cut through the city as well as how the world around him interacts with his movement which eventually leads to Paul on the court and breaking down a defender.

While playing ball, the body goes through plenty movements with some of them not even noticed by spectators or even the player and this campaign looks to raise awareness of that with the help of a couple dozen doppelgangers out in Venice Beach, California.

This is the latest Wieden & Kennedy campaign for Nike Inc. with previous works including popular ad campaigns like “Bo Knows” for Bo Jackson, “I Am Not A Role Model” for Charles Barkley, “Livestrong” for Lance Armstrong, and created the Lil Penny & Mars Blackmon characters amongst others.
