Bynum Shooting Threes At Sixers Camp?

When the Philadelphia 76ers somehow found a way to wiggle their way into the Dwight Howard trade talks late, and somehow bring Andrew Bynum to the “City of Brotherly Love”, the move invigorated the rabid Philly fanbase and instantly gave the Sixers the franchise player they have been missing since Allen Iverson was traded to the Nuggets back in 2005.

But to say that Bynum is a high risk/high reward type of player is an understatement, especially considering his injury history, penchant for flagrant fouls, and a perceived lack of respect for authority figures.

Sixer fans have to already be concerned now that Bynum has been shut down for the entire pre-season with what is being called a bone bruise to his right knee and as a precautionary measure following his stat of the art Orkathine therapy he received in Europe a few weeks ago.

After the first few days at Sixers Training Camp, Bynum has been reduced to being the highest paid ballboy and rebounder in basketball, as well as sneaking into the 3 point line when coach Doug Collins isn’t looking.

Although Lakers fans are probably chuckling right now, let’s hope this doesn’t become a habit….
