I think it’s safe to say that Dallas Mavericks’ Puerto Rican Guard J.J. Barea has overachieved given his size and athletic ability. He’s currently a very key piece of a Mavericks team that is clicking on all cylinders in the Western Conference Finals against the OKC Thunder. This very well may be the year the Mavs get another shot at the CHIP. So yeah, he’s loving life. But that’s not all…
The diminutive guard Barea is also overachieving off the court. He’s dating Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera, and could be on the verge of popping the question (If he knows what’s good for him). He’s being pretty tight lipped about their relationship, but they’ve apparently been dating for 6-8 months already.
