I want to wish you good luck in your treatment with cancer. I have had someone close pass way from it but I want to tell you about a clinic that uses alternative and old the old regime which is chemo together as a way of removing cancer for good . George,

I just want to wish you the best !! My brother Mike Kahn(sportswriter) covered the Sonics for many years, as you know. He always had the deepest respect for you and liked you very much. As you may or may not know, he died from complications of lung cancer a little over a year ago. He was very positive till the end and though it’s been difficult for me, I take my big brother’s optimism with me where ever I go. So, hang in there and coach your ass off with the Nuggets. I rooting for you and them.

Mr Karl,
My name is Greg I was diagnosed with squamous cell carsenoma in 2005. I completed the same 6 week treatment in 2006. It took me 81/2 weeks because I didn’t take the radiation well so I had to have a break. I saw your story and had to send my hand and heart out to a brother going through the same thing. I would welcome contact if you have questions, or just wanted to talk. Although you aren’t a stranger to cancer. The head and neck is another thing altogether. Forgive spelling I needed to try to reach out I hope this reaches you. I’m Not a kook or anything. I just know how it is to go through something that know one could know how you feel unless they’ve done it. I sure could have used someone to talk to.

Dear George, First of all good luck and if you believe, Prayer surely helps. I completed treatments similar to yours just 2 weeks ago.. I know that I did not care to talk to anyone about it as I was strongly focused.
