@Ethan – Portland is playing amazing ball right now. Brandon Roy is playing out of his mind, and if carrying this injury riddled team to win after win without legitimate big men doesn’t get him MVP consideration, I don’t know what will.

It wouldn’t make sense for it to be sarcasm, since Portland is not only still winning games despite the injuries, but are on top of the NW Division. And why on earth take a shot at Howard when he’s been delivering double-doubles game after game? More likely, Chip Patterson doesn’t have a clue about any of those facts.

@Ethan Allen Smith – i’m pretty sure saying “Joel Pryzbila had been doing a great job…” was sarcasm for the fact that he along with all the other Portland bigs have a knack for getting hurt one after the other once they start playing well.

Or maybe not, maybe the writer just wasn’t aware about Pryzbilla getting hurt baddddd. His other assessments are pretty accurate though, so it may be a little harsh to say he doesn’t know anything about the basketball teams.
