Jason Maxiell Denies Rasheed Wallace at the Palace [Video]

You know that all the years ‘Sheed spent in Detroit with Jason Maxiell he was telling him day in and day out, ‘Protect the Rim, Son!’ It’s for that reason that you’d think Rasheed, now a Celtic, would know better than to grab for fools gold and try and dunk the rock with Jason Maxiell in the paint.

Maxiell is not the tallest or longest paint protector in the league, but he’s got terrific timing and incredible hops. When you combine those two physical abilities what you end up with is this video below from the Celtics/Pistons game this past Wednesday. Protege owning Mentor, right Sheed?:
