@RC Trucks – you’re exactly right. It did increase attendance. Even though the Kings were playing the Wizards (not normally a big draw, even with the Arenas factor) they had their second highest attendance total of the season. Opening night was the only game they had more people….

I guess FREE beer would be one step closer to the sell out?

When I heard about this promotion, I thought it would help sell some tickets. I am sure it did. What is the average attendance at a Kings game. I am sure the owners still made money selling beer for $1.
