So i have one arm but i have only where a bone is u cant see anything…lol anyway i play basketball, cheerleading, soccor, Track and also compete in pagents and gymnastics i think that nothing can stop you except if your a gurl and cnt put up your hair…lol anyway its amazing what u can do with jst one :)

As ‘some other dude’ stated, perhaps a better word to have used would be “underestimating” instead of doubting but it was clear that his intent was a positive one.

This young man really serves to encourage us all to be better and additionally, not to count others out by forming opinions or notions of anyone else we might have come across in our past.

In response to the comment about the coach saying there’s nothing better than people doubting you, if you take it JUST from a coaching standpoint it makes total sense. I dont think he meant it for Kevin’s life in general. He just didn’t put it as well as he could have.

As I see it, from a coaches and a “gamesmanship” point of view there is nothing better than Kevin’s opponents doubting and underestimating him, every time an opponent does that to him, Kevin will use and abuse him on the court…

Just my .02 worth…

the coach is kind of stupid/full of bs. he literally says, “there’s nothing better than people doubting you”. really? having people doubt you is soooooo wonderful. i just love when people doubt my abilities. i can only imagine kevin (the one-armed basketball player) absolutely loves having had people doubt his abilities, too.

the coach seems like his heart is in the right place, but he’s just full of crap.

Greg Stewart, 7’2, about the same amount of arm as this guy, plays for Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC, uses a kind of mitt/paddle on his arm to help him control the ball.
