John Salley stopped to congratulate the Bulls. I’m not sure that Dumars did. When you look at the tape from that game you will see he was only about 5 seconds behind the first 3 to walk out (Aguirre, Laimbeer, Thomas). Not too sure about Dumars.

Ah, Stacy King. Jordan’s whipping boy. Jordan and Jackson absolutely destroyed mentally.

In terms of the ‘passing torch’ metaphor, it was already cleanly out of LA’s hands and into the Pistons greedy clutches, which is why they acted like little bitches and stormed off. They just got their crowns snatched.

I could be wrong, but I thought that Joe Dumars was the only Piston to congratulate Jordan/Bulls. I thought I read that somewhere recently. Great wrap-up, I’m enjoying this series.
