This article ignored the biggest hole in the Wizards team: big men. We traded picks for two more perimeter players. Why? Thats where Arenas, Butler and Young hang out. Jamison grabbed a ton of boards last year, because our center, Haywood, is only good for 7 per game even though he is 7 freaking feet tall. We have no post threat with Haywood averaging 9.7 per game and Blatch who has handles as good as Ben Wallace in NBA2K3.

Having a ton of good shooters is a great strategy if you are trying to win half your games, but lets be honest, any good defense knows they can leave our post wide open, and shut down 70-80% of our scoring by doubling our perimeter players or setting a good zone D on us. If we don't spend some money or trade someone with a big paycheck for some inside presence soon, I will forever question whether the Wiz management actually follow basketball themselves.
