first off, i totally agree with you on this one, ryan. the raptors were already a scary team to play in the first place, but now you add the offensive firepower of turkoglu and we are talking about fireworks. i see 50 games easily in a division that isnt very strong aside from the celts and philly. this move really does put them at the top of that division, and lord willing, gives the cavs a run for their money. im pulling for the raptors. i always liked them...even back in the stoudemire/carter administration HAHA.

The Raptors have been lacking that guy who can create his own own shot for a very long time DRC. Tukoglu adds another dimension to the offense, and takes some of the playmaking load off Calderon, who although is efficient, can be shut down at times leaving the raptors offense sputtering.

he did get overpaid, but what are you gonna do? he opted out at the perfect time to become a free agent.

Turkoglu was a good player for Orlando, and I agree he is a good addition to the Raptors, however he likes to create his own shot which might not mesh well with Calderon who likes to set up his teammates and plays better with Catch and Shoot teammates who are ready to score.

Either way I think its a good move, but I do think the Raptors overpaid him quite a bit. If it was 2010 right now, no team would have offered Turkoglu that much money.
