Donald Sterling is allegedly in love with Iverson and has wanted to bring him in for years. It's likely to happen, whether the fans want it or not.

The article is persuasive and potentially true. But how many opportunities are the Clippers going to have to bring in a future Hall of Famer and boost sales by a large percentage? Not many. Especially with Iverson coming at a discount rate (likely $5-6 million) and under the condition of a one-year contract.

The Clips already have one megalomaniac ballhog in Baron Davis. Yet no one gripes about him with the same passion that they gripe against Iverson coming to town. Davis settles for considerably more outside jumpers than Iverson, but everyone seems to be alright with Davis re-assuming the starting point guard duties.

What's the difference?
