Listen. Lebron James is by far one of the most talented players and atheletes in the NBA and the world for that matter. For that reason he is put on a pedastal and his every action is judged by people like you and me. As a competitor I can understand James’ frustration with losing. At the same time the dude needs to Sac up and be a man. This isnt high school where you can be a poor sport or a sore loser and its accepted because your an immateur kid. This is the NBA, this is the biggest stage in basketball and for him to have walked off the court without shaking hands is inexcusable. “I cant congratulate a team that just beat me up” . Thats a BS cop out, sore loser remark if ive ever heard one. Be a man Lebron James. nobody cares that he ditched out on the media, the media usually ask insensitive and rediculous questions anyway. But the fact that you dont shake hands and then you dont apologize for it when asked about it is unacceptable. I have lost a lot of respect for him as a person, his talent is undeniable but the dudes a bitch.

honestly?, it may be OK for him to behave like that on the day of his loss, but it is inexcusable for him to still show hostility towards Orlando a few days later. I’m sure he would not have been fined if he had just said something like “I obviously was very upset after the loss and didn’t handle it well. I would like to apologize for how I acted and congratulate Orlando on a great series”. But he didn’t say that, instead he gave an explanation that actually made it worse!! He continued to be a sore loser and did not come to his senses. So I can understand why the fine was imposed…

well the only reason why the nba charged him cuz they need the money they spent on recession ( $125 Million ) they gonna start fining every player soon !

the 25k obviously doesn’t leave a dent in his wallet and nobody’s saying lebron is now a horrible guy but it was just a message to both players and viewers (especially the kids) that this was not the right thing to do. no matter how you view it, it’s bad sportsmanship. high-profile athletes have for sure dealt with bigger disappointments in better ways:

When did disagreeing with someone make you a “hater”? And WTF is a hater anyways??? I think it’s a made-up term so that people who eff up can claim some sort of bias or jealousy as the root cause instead of just being responsible adults.

The NBA makes money because it markets it’s stars. If the stars refuse to be a part of the whole NBA package (which includes media time), why SHOULDN’T the player be fined? I mean…it’s a rule that the players have to make themselves available to the media after the game. LeBron didn’t. Broken rules=fines. Same for everyone else. Being tired had nothing to do with it because if he would have collapsed from exhaustion after WINNING a game, you best be sure that he’d have his @$$ at the press conference talking about the win. LeBron was pissed that he lost and he didn’t want to talk about it. I can see that, but that doesn’t mean that it’s right. Being one of the highest paid players in sports means that after getting your @$$ handed to you in game 6 you have to go out and answer question from the media about getting servers. That part sucks, but I’m sure that fat playoff check more than makes up for it.
