Video of the Day: Derrick Rose Blocks Scalabrine at the Rim in Game 7

Although Game 7 of the Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls is still on going as we speak, I thought it necessary to post this video immediately for your viewing pleasure as fans. Also, figured some of my blogger brethren from Chicago may want to use it. Derrick Rose just pulled off the most ridiculous block for a point guard that i’ve ever seen. Keep in mind he’s only 6’3″ and Brian Scalabrine is 6’9″.
Scalabrine steals the ball, is on a wide open on the fast break, and out of nowhere Derrick “Spidey” Rose (coined by twitterer @adamcbest) flies in out of nowhere for the huge block of Scalabrine’s dunk attempt at the rim. Rose actually jumped so high on the play he was dangerously close to hitting his head on the rim, and then the backboard as he was on the way down.
