Melo, I feel your pain. There were many days when I didn't have anyone to rebound for me. To be honest that made me a better shooter because I got tired chasing long rebounds. I would shoot at least 100 shots a day, 500 average. Make sure you have your footwork, form, and follow through correct. My Fundamentals of Shooting DVD explains it all if you are not sure. http://www.amazon.com/All-American-Basketball-Coach-Koran-Godwin/dp/B00176X76U/ref=pd_sim_b_3

Coach G - Great drill - What should you do if you don't have someone to pass the ball to you - Should you just throw it off a wall or something to yourself? - How many shots per day do you take in practice?

Jeff, log on to http://www.jumpstarthoops.com/hoops_005.htm and listen to my ball hog vs scorer podcast. I explain my philosophy on overdribbling and how to shed the ball hog tag.

Great tips Coach Godwin, thanks. A lot of coaches would never allow a drill where you put the ball between the legs as they would consider it showboating. It's nice to see a modern take on drills.

Do you have a philosophy with players overdribbling or dribbling through their legs?
