Rick Kamla just became the “Rightest” Man Alive: Allen Iverson/Detroit Pistons

Rick Kamla

April 8, 2009 – Dr. Dime

I remember the days when only stat heads and fantasy sports guru’s knew about NBA TV’s Rick Kamla. But these days Rick Kamla is a full blown NBA analyst that is covering just about every aspect of professional basketball. You may not always agree with his opinion but you’ve got to at least appreciate the conviction by which he expresses it, and the thought that he puts into his analysis.

I just finished watching this Rick Kamla run down of the Allen Iverson/Detroit Pistons situation. I’ve already left you with my thoughts on the situation a short while ago. But I find Kamla’s position to be balanced, avoiding the blame game, and completely correct.

Oh and by the way, when does the FireMichaelCurry.com website launch? I’m already a subscriber:

I think that Rick Kamla is completely wrong on the A.I experiment. I’m really questioning if he watches much Piston Basketball. Everyone knows that Allen is a cancer to any locker room at this point in his career. Allen is an undersized shooting guard and could never understand the team concept of basketball. His talents maybe better suited for And1 basketball. Its no wonder the Pistons have been a much better team since he’s been gone. I’m glad he’s gone and now I’m looking forward to what the Pistons will be doing with the much needed cap relief.

Rick Kamla was spot on then, and he’s spot on right now ( August ’09)

I can’t wait to see AI back in the NBA, hopefully, and you guys already know where Curry is, I mean where Curry ISN’T.

It’s as if NBA fans just started watching AI now??! This man has been dominating the game for 13 years ( or 12 sans ’08/’09)

It’s a slap in his face if he doesn’t START.
It’s funny what you can convince people to do once you have a mob behind you; almost had AI thinking he was a reserve.
