Tiger Woods Weighs in on the 2009 NBA MVP Candidates

Every NBA fan is starting to develop some strong opinions at this point in the season about who is the most deserving player thus far for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award. The Hoop Doctors did a post at the beginning of the season laying out handicapping sites odds of each of the big name players for winning the MVP award. Well there have been very little surprises thus far, as it is a three horse race between Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, and Dwyane Wade. To me, it’s a virtual coin flip at this point between any of those three players. You could make a pretty strong case for any of the three to win the award.
But when in doubt on who will win the NBA MVP award…….CONSULT TIGER WOODS! Yes, you read that right. Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer alive. He can do no wrong. So why wouldn’t he be able to predict the winner of the NBA’s MVP right? Well as silly as that sounds, a reporter yesterday actually asked Tiger Woods at the end of a long day of golf, who HE thought would win the NBA MVP award. Here is the video clip of Tiger’s response. He didn’t skip a beat. I have a new found respect for Mr. Woods as his comments were very astute:
