This is some great stuff that goes into my formula for picking the Bracket winners.However, I think you overlooked one important factor in evaluating teams in the Big Dance:

NON-CONFERENCE STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE AND RECORD

It is important what non-conference teams you play and your record against them. I understand each opponent is tough in conference play in the top conferences. But playing teams from other leagues, requires you to adjust to different styles and paces of play. Additionally, you are not as familiar with the player tendencies of non- conference opponents. This puts more pressure on the preparation of your entire coaching staff. As we all know, scouting and preparation can be as important as good play come tournament time.

Anybody agree with this assessment?
