Knicks Fans Need Cheering Up? John Starks to the Rescue…

It is a pretty somber day today for the fans of the New York Knicks. After Kobe Bryant went off last night for a Madison Square Garden record breaking 61 points, there is no doubt some New Yorker’s who are hanging their heads. But have no fear, Dr. J-Water is here. Today i’m going to try and cure your basketball blues, if only for a minute or two.
Remember John Starks? No not the inconsistent John Starks, who would be hot one game and cold the next. But the John Starks that brought you one of the most exhilarating moments in Knicks playoff history. You know which moment i’m talking about too, don’t you? The one where he silenced the likes of the Jordan’s and Bryant’s of this world who think they can come into MSG any time they feel like it and steal our hearts, and crush our title hopes.
Well this one goes out to all the longtime New York Knicks fans out there….let’s take a minute or two of silence to remember this great play in Knicks playoff history. 1993 NBA Playoffs……Bulls/Knicks…..@MSG….
