Udonis Haslem is one of those solid hard working players that contributes huge every night to every single game for the Miami Heat but doesn’t do anything flashy so he doesn’t get a lot of attention. But he’s consistent, every single game, he knocks down the 12 foot jumper like water, he rebounds on both ends, and he DEFENDS.
And boy does he defend! Last night Kobe Bryant gave his man a shimmy and took the ball hard to the cup. Kobe elevated for the dunk expecting to either throw it down or get fouled. But what was waiting for him? The Miami Heat workhorse Udonis Haslem. Haslem did something you rarely see when people try to stop Kobe Bryant. He blocked his dunk attempt, and HUGE!
