Video: David Lee is a “Fancy” Dunker Now?

Here is a message for David Lee of the New York Knicks from The Hoop Doctors: “Please leave the ‘fancy’ dunking to the likes of Vince Carter, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, etc.”

We have to give David Lee a bit of leeway here on this lame attempt to thrill the crowd on the fast break with a self-tossed lob pass for a dunk. Why? Because the man put up an enormous 37 points, 21 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and a block against the Golden State Warriors in the game Saturday. Thank God i’ve got him in my Fantasy NBA pool!

I’m happy the Knicks got the dub against the dubs….but regarding this dunk, i’ve got to agree with Rick Kamla on this one:

    he just doesnt seem smooth or even SURE of his actions…via the rookie-sophomore game where he was perfect from the field 10 for 10 i believe
