I agree completely. The should score easy points on the break whenever they can. If the break isn’t there they set-up through O’Neal in the post and go from there. Worked for the Magic, Lakers, and Heat with Shaq. All of them scored easy buckets when possible then dominated teams in the half-court as well.

If Amare can play some defense….Suns will be very dangerous.

The offence wasn’t broken. I agree that Shaq should center the half court offence when the Suns can’t get their usual quick points, but why try and re-invent the wheel on the offensive end when you had the best O in the league for 4 years running?

The Defense is what Porter was hired to improve and he should have been focusing on that from the beginning rather than tinkering with the Suns’ strengths.

Good one, Dr. Anklesnap. The gameplan is sound on the face of it. The execution is just dismal. And I can’t believe how quickly Nash and Amare are complaining about things. It’s disgraceful, quite honestly.

I don’t think you could of said it any better Dr. Anklesnap, It clearly shows that the players don’t want to slow down and since they are likely confused to either take the shot or pass it to Shaq they turn over the ball because of it. I do agree, yes, Shaq is getting older, and slower, but we have tried the fast-paced system for years under D’antoni and look how far we have gone in the playoffs…NOWHERE! It is well clear this year and next year will be the Suns last chance at getting rings. Let’s just go forth and get our Rook’s more involved and go win us a championship!

well said. i wasn’t a fan of the hiring of porter to coach the suns, kerr is mangling that team badly..sad really.
