Shaq was going for the ball. He was out of position and that caused a horrific collision. Stuckey did a audition and got the part. The only thing about the incident that bothered me was the way Shaq reacted to his coach, he dissed him, not good!@!!@!

You are obviously under 16 years old and weren’t around when this “used to be” a man’s sport, where physical contact happened from time to time. Back in the days of the Bulls, Knicks, Pistons, rivalries, plays like this may not even have been a foul call, let alone a flagrant 2 and ejection.

Guys, i am a phoenix and shaq fan myself but i hate when people lose their neutrality when we look at a semi’serious’ incident like this. The question is, do we want this to be a sport where only 7ft 300lbs guys compete, or do we want the variety of small and big guys fighting, each with their respective strengths? You cant let him get away with that, he willingly risked severe injury on stuckeys side. I would accept that if he would be punished like that himself, but somehow that shaq show is always going one direction. I wonder how he would like someone do this to him.

Shaq must be suspended for a couple of games. He must understand that its not ok to play liek that.

it was totally a dirty play, Shaq threw him down hard. He wanted to put a hard foul on the guy so he couldn’t score the ball and go to the line for a free throw. That was excessive though. Shaq should be suspended for at least 2 games on that one!

If size he feels is unfair he should try losing weight!

He made an honest attempt at the ball. It was a partially clean block. People said he threw his arms down afterwards, but if you watch closely it was only to stabilize himself from falling on his face because Stuckey was flying in out of control and also ran into shaq. this wasn’t one sided! Maybe stuckey should be suspended for crashing into shaq like a wild man.

Story of Shaq’s career. He was beefy during the 90s and is still chunky now, therefor any questions regarding how he should be treated by the refs should have been long answered by now.

Shaq has been called for slightly more fouls per game than players like Dwight Howard. Shaq also tends to commit more fouls when he’s old, injured or disgruntled.

The question isn’t whether he was making an intial attempt at the ball; the fact is that he *clearly* and willfully extended his motion at the end to throw Stuckey down towards the floor by his head.
