Eddy Curry’s Advice to Tyson Chandler: “Tyson Don’t Look!”

Eddy Curry Tyson Chandler Friends

November 18th, 2008 – Dr. Anklesnap

So i’m reading the Tyson Chandler Blog on NBA.com this morning…..why, you ask?….basically because i’m one of those slightly sick individuals that reads virtually any NBA related materials I can get my eyes on. Plus, i’m loving Tyson Chandler’s game these days.

What immediately caught my eye was the title of one of the paragraphs in his blog: “Eddy’s Advice”. I immediately knew it must have been referring to Eddy Curry as the two players had come into the league together. With both being straight from high school prodigies that the Chicago Bulls were counting on to turn their post-Jordan franchise around, they were bound to become friends as they had to deal with the rookie performance pressures together.

Just like I did, i’m assuming at first glance you would be under the impression the paragraph titled “Eddy’s Advice” would somehow be Eddy Curry attempting to give fellow big man Tyson Chandler some sort of basketball related advice, like a particular post move, or possibly even an inside bit of info from a scouting report on a player Tyson was about to play against……WRONG!

The advice discussed was Eddy Curry essentially warning Tyson Chandler “Not to look” while in the delivery room during the upcoming birth of Chandler’s child. Their dialogue back and forth on the subject was quite funny…..

So if you’re wondering if Tyson Chandler took Eddy Curry’s advice…..the answer is no. But for the record, Tyson Chandler now has a little bit of advice for ALL expecting father’s out there: “Don’t Get Curious!”

Hahaha…Golden.

Having 2 kids I can agree. But you kind of have to look. You get over it.
