Video: Steve Nash Spin Move in Outdoor Game

Steve Nash Outdoor Game

October 14, 2008 – Dr. Dime

For those of you who were not able to catch the first outdoor NBA game in over 30 years, I wanted to give you a little taste of the entertainment delivered by none other than the Canadian Steve Nash in the match up of the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns. Although the Suns ultimately lost the game, the atmosphere was kept fun and light and both teams seemed to be having a good time. With that said however everyone did look a tad cold, including Barkley who donned a scarf to keep warm while announcing.

The score was surprising low for a match up of the Nuggets and Suns at 77-72 (both known for their strong offense and equally weak defense), but even with both teams struggling to score there was no shortage of highlights when Steve Nash was on the floor. The guy is an absolute magician with the ball. Check out this spin move in the paint while surrounded by defenders! What amazes me most is his awareness once at the cup to put a reverse spin on the ball, while off balance, to kiss it off the glass!

..it kinda looked like he stumbled…you know those moves you do when you stumble but happen to be able to pick it back up and then finally get enough control to do a fancy lay-in…

The question for Raptor Fans is Can Nash do that in 2010?

Yep, sick. Especially considering he jumped off the opposite foot (right) that you normally jump off of on a layup on that side.

That’s true JR certainly has some exciting acrobatic highlights!
