Any team with shaq, amare, and nash is guaranteed to make the playoffs I don’t care how competitive the west is.

I like the previews, the Western Conference is so stacked this year. It could be an even more exciting year than last year, which is truly hard to believe. It’s amazing that the Suns and Mavericks were playing for the West title in 2006, but could be out of the playoffs altogether this years.

You are too hard on my T-Wolves. I think Al is going to be an All-Star this year and he will carry the T-Wolves to a much better record. probably not playoffs because it’s too competitive but they won’t be the ‘bottom dwellers’ as you refer to them this year.

@jay – good eye bud.

@blazerboy – i’m excited to see what Oden has in store for us, but after watching the Olympics, i’m equally excited to see what Rudy Fernandez is going to bring to the table. That guy is athletic!!

@MarkAndre – seems like you are contradicting yourself a bit. You said Bynum played at All-star level, then you said maybe they should start Odom instead of Bynum. Not that i’m disagreeing however. I think until Bynum has proved himself a bit more, Odom should be the Lakers starting power forward with Gasol anchoring the middle.

yeah great previews! Although I think you are a bit hard on Andrew Bynum hype. He played definitely at an all-star level when he was on the court last year. He was rebounding huge and blocking everything.

You’re right though that the Lakers have to find out if Gasol and Bynum can coexist on the floor together before they start doing anything with Odom.

Maybe Bynum could come off the bench and starters could be Gasol and Odom?Odom is too talented in this league to not be a starter.

yeah I saw that spelling mistake too Jay. But aside from that I think the preview was pretty bang on predictionwise. The blazers should be in the playoffs this year for sure. And if Oden lives up to his hype they will be a contender to win it all. They are so balanced and good. Age is the only thing they don’t have yet but they will get it with time.
