Boston Celtics 2007-08: Opening Night Video Says It All!

How fierce and intense is the face of Kevin Garnett in the heat of battle? The guy is borderline scary to even watch, regardless of the fact that i’m sitting in the comfort and safety of my own home watching him through the TV. Last season was a dream for Garnett and the entire Boston Celtics organization.

When I came across this video that was shown in the Boston Gardens on November 2nd, 2007 right before the player introductions of the first regular season game of the year against the Washington Wizards, I had to share. This video epitomizes what was behind the Celtics championship run.  It may be a little “Big Three” focused, but it shows the intense drive, hard workouts, and team bonding that went into the mix to produce such an impeccable season for the Celtics.

The season is over, the Celts have won………..but this video still gets me off my seat. “Ahhhhhhhhh”, Garnett, “Ahhhhhhh”.
