Knicks are going to be a bit improved this year with d’antoni and new philosophy. But if they allow marbury to stick around they will be brutal again. walsh shouldn’t be giving him a “clean slate” ….but a one way ticket out of town.

I should qualify it a bit more than how I put it in the post. Marbury is super talented. He always has been. But he is a headcase. He doesn’t have the leadership, dedication, unselfishness, or any other quality usually intuitive to a point guard.

Maybe if they move him to the two spot and make him a catch and shoot guy, or a penetrator from the wing, he could start earning his salary.

I agree he still ‘can play’ from a purely skills perspective.
