Miles was a cancer, Miles was everything that is wrong with this league. He stays around because he likes the lifestyle, the money and most of all…the attention. He may feel like he can still play, but when all is said and done, he won’t pan out.

The one thing that does worry me…is that he may try to play 10 games in 2 years, simply to get back at the Blazers. In business, it usually isn’t a wise move to burn bridges…and I think the Blazers may have burnt a bridge, that might ultimately come back to bite them in the end.

With that said, KP has done nothing but amazing things in the past few years. Changing the teams culture and communities views into nothing but positives. He is pretty untouchable around these parts, and I think in the end, even if the Blazers have to take a financial hit, Mr. Allen and the Blazer Organization is better off without D Miles around.

Pritchard can dislike Miles, but there are NBA rules that may have been bent by saying out loud that Miles is badly injured and that he was a cancer.

KP was right, Darius was a cancer for the Blazers. And, how dare you compare Darius to Greg Oden. Darius will never be the quality human that Greg is, Darius brought all this on himself. I hope he gets Prichslaped.

Nosfera, you are right man. KP is definitely sweating this one out. Ultimately I doubt Boston or Phoenix will sign Darius.

I don’t think it’s sending the wrong message in his case because of all the crap that is darius, BUT it is clear that KP is sweating bullets on the chance DM will be signed by another team.

KP is willing to shell out big bucks for his young talent so obviously he’s not all about the money. He cares about his talent and the franchise and wants to put together the best team he can.

Miles disrespected this franchise soo many times I don’t blame Pritchard for saying whatever he needs to, to keep DM from screwing them again by putting his salary back on the books.

Miles should stay retired.
