Chris I agree the Raptors will be much improved with a healthy Jermaine O'Neal. My list was focused on the teams that didn't make the post-season in 2008 though.

The trio of Calderon, Bosh, and Jermaine O'Neal is goign to do some serious damage in the eastern conference. I suspect that Calderon will follow his past off-season trend and have another big leap in improvement heading into next season. The Raptors are going to need someone solid to back up Calderon though so he doesn't get too worn down during the 82 game season.

Hopefully Bosh won't have any problem with his feet either after another summer playing with Team USA wihtout a proper break.

I think the raptors willl have a great turnaround in the 2008-2009 season mainly because of the aquisition of Jermaine O'neal. This is arguably one of the best duo's in the league with Chris Bosh and Jermaine O'neal. Furthermore Jose Caledron who was considered an all-star in the 2008 season could also make a great trio. So in my opinion the raptors will have one of the best seasons in their franchise history.

J.O. welcome to T.O.

Blazers are a given. If the Heat decide not to tank it like in 07-08 then they have to do better. I'm not sure if Rose is the answer to all of the Bulls problems. They tried a minor overhaul mid-season and it didn't kick in, now they need a kid to be the glue to hold it all together. Still, they're loaded with talent and are in the east. The Bucks are interesting, good talent, but like with Chi, never able to put it together and are now depending on the same coach, Skiles, who couldn't win with decent talent. Clippers are now off the radar after losing Brand and Maggette. I'd change that 5 to Philly. I also liked what the Nets did in the draft but may be a year or two away. Lebron?
