Kobe deserves it more this year in my opinion.He has lead his young team to being top in the West.That alone is amazing, because the West was so much competition to even get in the playoffs.Kobe scored 82 points in ONE game, that is legendary status.He deserves it more, Paul has many years to come and I think his time will come soon.

???? kobe can never pass jordan legacy…he realized that the ppl around him can actually play ball and they got gasol they took off…yea gasol n bynum went down but it wasnt for the whole season…what about those yers prior where he couldnt get out the first round

wrigely addict you took the words right out of my outh iv been telling that to everybody…and you never know if he will have another oppurtunity because now everyone is going to expect the hornets to finish near the top of the western conference..sort of what happens to lebron he gets 30/8/7 and ppl jus shrug it off like its a gime\me for him…hell it toook kobe 12 years to get it cp3 deserved it more than kobe

You give the MVP award to the player that had the best year. Paul arguably has had the best season of a point guard in this era.

At least someone who agrees with me (This article I mean)..

People are saying that Hornets made it to where they are now because of CP but think again.. as this articled pointed out he had a lot of help coming from his teammates so doesnt that count for something?? Hornets now are indeed a team worth mentioning because of the number of people they they had acquired so dont forget that…

Very tight between the two, I’m sure CP will have his opportunities in the future, being very young and a newbie in the league….I say give this one to Kobe.

If Kobe loses, twenty years from now, when people look back and they look at the 2006,2007,2008 seasons…they would be shocked to find out that Kobe lost out MVP 3 years in a row to point guards.

I see Kobe as someone who is on the way to surpassing Jordan’s legacy. Today he is the best player in the league and arguably one of the best players to ever play the game.

Chris Paul is clearly the MVP. Kobe doesn’t make his team better, he just cries about having bad players then once he sees they are good he pretends it’s all his doing. He is a fraud.
