Video: Kevin Garnett Suspended For Slapping Andrew Bogut

Well it looks as if that little scuffle between Kevin Garnett and Andrew Bogut on Saturday in the match-up between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks is resulting in a one game suspension for KG. Well at least that is what is being reported by the Boston Herald here. I haven’t been able to find too much more information on the suspension yet, but it seems the suspension for Garnett is being attributed to the little slap in the face he gave Bogut at the end of the scuffle. KG has been feisty his whole career, but hopefully the Celtics won’t have to deal with too many distractions like this for the rest of the year from KG, as they need to focus on defending their title. An achievement that most Champions have ended up failing to do over the history of the league.
I’ve got to admit, even though Garnett probably should have refrained from retaliating when Bogut inadvertently slapped him in the face, Bogut’s reaction of shock and disgust was ‘overacting’ at its best. Even Jim Carrey would be proud, Bogut!

Yeah, Bogut was definitely “overacting”. And that’s definitely not worth a suspension.

You can’t hit someone in the face in retaliation, whether a slap or a punch. Garnett is known for doing dirty stuff like that, so I like the suspension.

You just say what others say on TV, so you look cool. Dimwit. Garnett is clearly trying to get Bogut’s arms and elbows away from his face. After being elbowed, and slapped in the face, any player would react in kind. Grow up.

This is total bullshit. Bogut flung his hangs into garnetts face , so garnett REACTED. These F#$KING announcers are they joking!? ” i dont know why he got a techincal!” … what the f#$k are u kidding??? He got elbowed so he SHOULD getg a f#$king technical. what the f#$k is up with these dumbass players trying to mess with KG? KG is not a dirty player. He is known as physical player and leaves his all on the court. A one game suspension for that was ridiculous. Bogut was just overreacting and it clearly is shown in the video. Da Big Ticket blocked his shot and he wanted foul for nothing. Point blank!!!

I know sometrhing about the game. What about the time he pushed the ref & was suspended? He shouldnt have been suspended for the “slap” but KG does lack class!

Hell I’m from the home town of Show Boater KG.
He needs to ge suspended and more. I mean how many times, did he cry, yes actually CRY on the TNT interviews, with John Thompson. I want a ring, I want a ring. If KG didn’t piss all the good players he had in the past, in Minnesota, he would’ve had the ring sooner. But he goes to a favored team like the Celtics, who have another Show Boater Pus-sy Pierce. So they became lovers, being around each other…look at the pictures. Now Ray Allen I don’t mind. I like people who’re silent assassins. Get’s the ball and does his job. No clapping chalk in people’s faces or actting like he’s God.

Pierce was stabbed multiple times in the neck. He has a reason to show boat even though i dont believe he does. Biggie says he should get suspened because KG cries about getting a ring. You would to if you played for suck team and the reason why you play the game is to get a ring. Biggie Smells has no idea what he is talking about.
