Fans who were looking forward to watching two of the most gifted young centers in the NBA square off for the first time last night were sadly let down as the scheduled game between the Kings and 76ers was postponed due to a slippery floor.

Although neither team has a game scheduled Thursday night, there is a concert scheduled in the arena and according to Kings Vice President of Operations Vlae Divac, the Kings are trying to figure out a day to play the game during their January seven-game east coast road trip.

While fans were robbed of any entertainment on the court, there was plenty of entertainment on Twitter.

Joel Embiid hit the mark with the classic “trust the process” joke, those never get old…

Here is how the Kings reacted to the floor situation…

Then this hilarious video…

Last but not least they decided to call out the 76ers Twitter directly…

Complex Sports, 76ers Writer Max Rappaport responded to the Kings Twitter with the absolutely best argument-ending tweet possible between these two teams…

Well done Max, well done.
