Certain players needed to play for Team USA in Rio in order to remember what winning feels like. Carmelo Anthony said as much, and the same can be said for DeMarcus Cousins. Boogie has been mired on a bad team in Sacramento since he entered the league, and probably feels that he’s too talented to be losing as much.
For the sake of Kings fans, let’s hope the winning that happened in Brazil is something that he can bring back with him to his NBA team. That’s also what Vlade Divac, Kings president, hopes for as well.
“Boogie played well,” Divac said. “He’s a very talented kid. Hopefully he can bring that positive attitude that he had here to Sacramento next year.”
