The war of words between the Warriors and Cavs continues. And we all love it. There are countless storylines in this Finals, which is what makes the NBA so great.

One of the most recent storylines is Andrew Bogut’s injury, which will keep out for the remainder of the series.

It was very unfortunate, but it looked like an innocent freak basketball play. JR Smith seems to think so, but Bogut isn’t as sure. He didn’t come out and say outright that Smith tried to injure him. But he didn’t exactly say the opposite either.

Asked if the collision with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ J.R. Smith that caused a season-ending knee injury was a basketball play, Andrew Bogut said he didn’t know.

“I don’t know how he fell and all that, but tough for interpretation,” Bogut said Thursday before Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Bogut heard two cracks as he suffered a significant injury and bone bruises in his left knee when Smith crashed into him in the third quarter of Game 5 on Monday.

“I blocked his shot,” Bogut said. “Somehow he cannon-balled right into my shin with his shoulder. It was painful.”
