Warriors Match Longest Home Winning Streak in NBA History

ste NBA History

The Warriors continued to make history Thursday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder with their 121-105 comeback victory. They matched the 1994 to 1996 Bulls record for the longest home winning streak in NBA history at 44.

The Warriors last lost a home game on January 27, 2015 to the Chicago Bulls in overtime. They are now 26-0 at home.

At 55-5, the Warriors will have to go 18-4 in their final 22 games in order to set a new record for most wins in an NBA season.

The Warriors play the Magic next Monday with another opportunity to set a record for the longest home winning streak in NBA history.

A perfect 41-0 home record is still also in play which is something that has never happened before. The Celtics went 40-1 at home in the 1985-86 season.

The Warriors will only play 5 teams over .500 for their final 15 home games, including one more home match up with the 51-9 San Antonio Spurs.

The good times continue to roll for the Warriors as they steamroll toward the designation of being the greatest basketball team of all time, if they are able to stay on this pace and hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy once again this June.
