Raptors In The Market For A Power Forward

ESPN NBA Reporter Brian Windhorst mentioned on a TSN radio show in Toronto Wednesday morning that the Raptors are extremely aggressive on the trade market and are in hot pursuit of a power forward.

Windhorst said they are interested and have inquired about working out a deal to acquire Thaddeus Young of the Brooklyn Nets, Markeiff Morris of the Phoenix Suns, and Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets.

There have also been reports linking the Raptors to P.J. Tucker of the Phoenix Suns and Tobias Harris of the Orlando Magic.

Here are some trades that could work to acquire Thaddeus Young, Markeiff Morris and Kenneth Faried:

Thaddeus Young

Thad

Markieff Morris

Keef

Kenneth Faried

Faried

The Thaddeus Young trade makes the most sense of the three for both sides. The Nets can shed some more long term salary and acquire a young point guard with potential, something they are currently starving for. The Raptors may have to throw a pick the Nuggets way to make a Faried deal work and Terrance Ross would be a nice addition for the Suns if the Raptors decide to hone in on Morris.

I have a feeling Toronto will succeed in acquiring a power forward before the deadline.
