To highlight the newly-released Jordan Super.Fly 4, Marvin the Martian recently made the trip to earth to compete against Blake Griffin, All-Star PF of the Los Angeles Clippers in a slam dunk contest.
There will be a shortened version of “The Dunk to End All Dunks” commercial on TV, but to fully enjoy the collaborative efforts between Jordan Brand and Warner Bros watch the entire spot below:
If you pay close attention to the feet of Marvin, you will notice Jordan 7-like lines on his footwear. This is very possibly the official look at the rumored ‘Marvin The Martian’ Air Jordan VII said to be releasing later this year.
During the Jordan 6 and Jordan 7 days, Bugs Bunny of the Looney Tunes was featured alongside Michael in Air Jordan campaigns, so it is good to see more integration between the brands. What would NOT be good to see is a resurgence of Lot29 and Iceberg cartoon character clothes. Never ever again.
