Watch: Final Four MOP Tyus Jones, Kevin Garnett Throw Out First Pitch At Twins Game

"jea 1426 twins royals"Duke freshman phenom Tyus Jones, fresh off helping Duke University win their 5th NCAA Title, is in the midst of making a life altering decision of whether to go pro or return to the Blue Devils for his sophomore season.

Jones had 23 points and 5 rebounds in the collegiate Final against Wisconsin but is projected by most to be a late 1st Round selection in the upcoming 2015 NBA Draft.

His fellow Duke freshman standouts Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow have already declared for the Draft but Jones is taking his time making a decision, one that Coach K surely hopes he thinks long and hard about, especially since Duke currently doesn’t have any other point guards on the roster for next season.

In order to clear his mind, Jones went back to his Minnesota roots, as he was once a star high school athlete at Apple Valley HS, where he was a 4A State Champion and a 3 time AP Minnesota Boys Player of the Year.

Jones was part of the pregame activities at a Minnesota Twins game, serving as a ballboy and de-facto pitching coach for NBA legend Kevin Garnett, recently traded back to the Timberwolves, who was throwing out the first pitch to All Star Tori Hunter.

Should Tyus Jones go pro or return to Duke for another season?
