F Shawne Williams Signs With Heat

heatshawneThe Miami Heat has signed former Lakers forward Shawne Williams, according to multiple league sources.

With this addition, William’s ability to knock down three-pointers at a respectable accuracy will help spread the floor in offense for the Heat. However, most likely he won’t be receiving enough playing time as serves as the backup for Luol Deng and Danny Granger.

Last season, the former 17th overall pick averaged 5.7 points and 3.1 rebounds, including 13 starts for the Los Angeles Lakers.
