Sole Falls Off Tony Wroten’s Air Jordan X During Game

Is it just me or is the NBA seeing more sneaker problems this season than any other? It sure feels like that with players like Manu Ginobili and LeBron James both already having problems with their shoes during a game, Tony Wroten is latest victim.

No stranger to playing in Jordan 10s during games with the Philadelphia 76ers, habitual Air Jordan Retro wearer Tony Wroten had the sole completely fall off the white/red pair of Air Jordan Xs he was wearing during a 76ers/Pacers game on Friday night, March 14th.

This colorway of the Air Jordan X was last released in September of 2005 so unless this was another case of an NBA playing having access to Retro Jordan releases months ahead of the average consumer, the decade-old sneaker might be the reason for the sole separation.

Tony Wroton played 13 minutes this game and put up 8 points to go with his 1 rebound. He was perfect from the free throw line however going 6-for-6 from the stripe.
