Chris Kaman Agrees to 1-Year Deal with the Lakers

He’s not exactly Dwight Howard, but he’s still plenty serviceable.

The Lakers lost Dwight and picked up Chris Kaman. Not only does Kaman come cheaper than Dwight, but he’s not that far removed from his best days, when he was on the Clippers. Quietly, this is a great move.

The Lakers found themselves a center, a familiar name to Los Angeles sports followers.

Chris Kaman agreed to a one-year, $3.2-million deal with the Lakers three days after Dwight Howardspurned them to sign with Houston.
