Tyson Chandler Sidelined With Bruised Knee

The Knicks and knees don’t jive anymore it seems. Amar’e Stoudemire is out for practically the rest of the season, as he needs more surgery on his knees. Then of course, Carmelo is battling a mystery knee injury that can’t be explained.

Then last night, Tyson Chandler made it a trio. The Knicks were in Denver last night when a Nuggets player fell into his leg, which buckled sideways. Chandler fell to the court immediately and did not return. It was “only” diagnosed as a bruise, but looked much worse.

The Knicks trailed 58-28 when they lost Tyson Chandler for the night with a bruised left knee after he slammed into Corey Brewer under the basket and had to be helped to the locker room.

“I’m alright,” said Chandler. “We’ll evaluate (Thursday) and see how it feels. Hopefully it doesn’t swell on me. I don’t think it’s a big deal.”
