Nike Air Max Hyperposite – ‘Amare Stoudemire PE’ Set

Ben December 17, 2012 Kicks, PE Corner 1 Comment

Since the ’12-’13 NBA season started, it was expected that the PE Corner of our Kicks section would be buzzing but I didn’t think we would showcase Player Exclusive sneakers of someone who hasn’t played this season yet.  The Air Max Hyperposite debuted this season, with players like David Lee receiving Player Exclusives, it definitely seems to favor the playing style of the big man in the league.  For the versions made for Stoudemire, Amare’s “AS” logo is on the tongue of all four pairs and can be seen in the picture above.

We know that the Air Max Hyperposite wasn’t just going to be a footwear option that Amare had this season, this was likely going to be the sneaker he wore all season.  He has proven to be a creature of comfort when it comes to sneakers as shown by last few seasons where he wore the Air Max Fly Thru exclusively and the year after that where he laced up the Zoom Huarache Trainer the entire season.  Despite not seeing a single NBA minute yet, Stoudemire has made multiple public appearances in the Air Max Hyperposite, so he must really like the sneaker.

At the time of posting, the orange & blue pair was available for sale a few months back but there is no word on whether the other three sneakers will hit store shelves.  Take a look at individual pictures of each Player Exclusive below and let us know your favorite.
