D-Rose 2011 MVP Mixtape – “I Do It”

December 13, 2011 – Allen Moll

For those of you that are in dire need of a break from all of the labor talk, player movement, and news of where Chris Paul and Dwight Howard will be allowed to be traded to, lets take a look back, and relish in some highlights from last season’s MVP winner…Derrick Rose.

By posting unreal numbers like 25 ppg, 7.7 ast, 4.1 rebs, and helping his Chicago Bulls teammates to 62 regular season wins and a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, Rose was selected as the youngest MVP in league history last season. No wonder Bulls management is on the verge of finalizing a 5 year – $94 million extension.

His name also became attached to numerous Bulls records and accomplishments in which many now read “the first player since Michael Jordan” to accomplish like making an All Star team in just his 2nd season and being chosen as an All NBA 1st Team selection.

Rose has worked hard to become not just a stellar athlete but a much improved basketball player by becoming a much improved 3 point and free throw shooter, pinpoint passer, and now strives to make his teammates around himself better. In addition to all of that, he’s just filthy to watch and virtually impossible to guard one-on-one.

Check out this awesome mixtape featuring music by up-and-coming hip hop star Big Sean, of Dwight Howard/Adidas commercial fame, that will make you say
“damn”!
