The NBA released the following statement this weekend about the fine of Paul Pierce for throwing ‘an object’ into the stands. But notice they didn’t mention what the object was….
Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics has been fined $15,000 for throwing an object into the stands, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 8:02 remaining in the first quarter of Boston’s 95-83 win over the Indiana Pacers on December 28 at Conseco Fieldhouse. (via)
