Lebron James’ Top 10 Blocks of the ’09-’10 Season

May 24, 2010 – Allen Moll

Even though Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers season is over, with no thanks to the Boston Celtics, “King James” still is on our minds since his impending free agency remains as the most talked about item until next season. And since he is the hot button topic this Summer, I’ve decided to feed into the madness by showing you a very good compilation video of Lebron’s Top 10 Rejections of the ’09-‘10 season.

What amazes me about the video is that although every opposing player just has to know that James, being one of the most athletic players in the NBA, just loves to chase down and swat players going in for a break-away lay-up, yet they continue to just nonchalantly toss the ball up on the rim instead of dunking with authority. Also impressive is that Lebron, unlike some other great defensive players who feast on blocking some of the league’s inferior players, almost seems to get some satisfaction out of rejecting elite level players like Kevin Durant and Rajon Rondo. In this video, my personal favorite is Lebron coming out of nowhere to swat Brandon Roy, which ranks only #6. Which rejection is your favorite?
